Hello my name RJ Soares and I am currently the First Assistant at Sakonnet Golf Club and the Director of Instruction at Newport Indoor Golf. I provide elite level coaching throughout the state of Rhode Island to players of all calibers including: beginner, intermediate, tournament play, and even mini tour level coaching. This excellence towards coaching was brought to light over the 2024 season, as I was recognized as the 2024 Assistant Professional of the Year in the state of Rhode Island. In addition to this incredible award, I have a wide range of experience with hundreds of members over multiple clubs including: Jupiter Hills, Charles River, Old Marsh, and the Aquidneck Club. Over my years in the industry I have been privileged enough to have worked with some of the best teaching professionals in the world and I hope to bring that level of excellence to all of my future students.
