RJ Soares is the Director of Instruction at Newport Indoor Golf and First Assistant Professional at Sakonnet Golf Club. Recognized as the 2024 Assistant Professional of the Year in Rhode Island, RJ provides elite-level coaching to players of all calibers — from beginners picking up a club for the first time to competitive and mini-tour level players. His experience spans hundreds of members across prestigious clubs including Jupiter Hills, Charles River, Old Marsh, and the Aquidneck Club. Having trained alongside some of the best teaching professionals in the world, RJ brings that same standard of excellence to every student at Newport Indoor Golf.
